Pie is bald on most of his body and his entire tail, but the fur on his ears and head are quite long, soft, and luscious!
I imagine young Pie had long luscious hair all over and maybe his nickname was Fabio.

Some dogs have questions on their first day of their staycation with me. Very smart dogs tend to have alot!
I listen and give them time, space, and patience. I can tell they appreciate this when they eventually give slow licks and eye contact. Acupressure points around the ears also help them feel calm and understood.
Pie and I met Duo Duo, the mascot and namesake of the nonprofit organization Duo Duo Project. Their mission is to end the cruel dog and cat meat trade once and for all.
Duo Duo was the very first life saved over 13 years ago!
