Video Review: Milk For The Angry - "Doors Of Dismay" The making of a music video can be very challenging and is no small feat. The planning involved in bringing visual imagery to a song takes a lot of brain power and people to make it happen. Not only...

Album Review: Katie Knipp - Live At The Green Room Social Club The short-story version of Sacramento blues singer Katie Knipp is this: She’s a little go-getter, she’s got her s**t together and she’s not wasting time with making her career happen. But the...
As they say in Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, "So long and thanks for all the fish...". In this case, I paraphrase that statement and say, "So long Lucy, and thanks for all the music!”
Yes, it's been a looooong run of music, mayhem, friendships, community, rock and roll, love and dancing under the trees in Luciana's backyard for the last 17 years, and what fun we have had! But our gracious hostess is uprooting for love and moving on to cactus and Joshua Trees, sand and arid air. We all wish her well!
But, I feel that I echo many of you in saying, "THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!" to Lucy for hosting, for being tolerant of her house being trashed and for her love of music. Thank you also to all the hundreds of bands, the thousands of friends, crew and onlookers who have passed through the gates over the last 17, it was definitely the most fu***ng fun we could have on Memorial Day weekend!
So, RIP Rock and Rose....and LONG LIVE ROCK & ROSE in our hearts and memories!
Big love! Carolyn McCoy
