Smith Ranch Homes Homeowners Association offers independent living in a highly serviced condominium community nestled in the northern San Rafael foothills.
Located north of the San Francisco in Marin County, our community offers many services, programs, and other amenities. The campus is surrounded by peaceful pastoral views and has beautifully maintained landscaping. While slightly off the beaten path, it is conveniently located near Freeway 101. Our mission is to maintain Smith Ranch Homes as a senior retirement community of high standards with minimum regulations and cost. Our exceptionally fine staff provide the best quality service with mutual respect and trust. Our common objective is to maintain and enhance high quality living with security, independence, freedom of choice, and excellent value. The residential community is mostly self governed with a board of directors and numerous committees that work with the staff to further our objective and allow the community to thrive.

Marin County senior communities fund college scholarships for employees and their relatives Residents at Smith Ranch Homes, Aldersly, Drake Terrace, The Tamalpais and Villa Marin raise money each year for the scholarship fund, which was established in 1994.

We are proud to be a member of the Marin Retirement Communities Scholarship Fund and honored to support the next generation of students pursuing their educational goals.
Smith Ranch Homes recently hosted a wonderful Scholarship Awards Reception celebrating our nine scholarship recipients. It was a special evening bringing together the recipients, their families, our employees, and the residents of our community to recognize their hard work, dedication, and bright futures.
Congratulations to all of this year's scholarship recipients! We are grateful to be part of a community that invests in education and celebrates the achievements of these outstanding students. We wish each of you continued success in the exciting journey ahead! 🎓✨
