It’s an oldie but a goodie :) my painting is hanging up for viewing along with a few other paintings there. Downtown San Rafael - a great spot along the “artist block” of 4th st (between Cst. & Dst.) - the space is coming alive with more artist sharing the space - the city needs more of this and more support to the small ones it has like this. Owned and run by Scott. Go by and view the work around the place. Take a pottery class and show support to the local arts.

Finished Murals down in Santa Cruz bold and bright colors liven and add much need life to the walls of the schools (qnd pretty much any wall that gets painted!) - it became a transformed corridor at the school - using reference from the school and its beautiful surroundings. The kids are forever honest and appreciative of the work that is done on their schools walls. I’m thankful to them. The principal. The school. The district and the opportunity to bring creativity to the walls of the schools in the district.

The Wood Bison - Athabacae (in science terms) a large scale painting of a mighty beast - tipping the scale of vulnerability - along with a high number of other animals we share this spinning ball of planet with. It’s one of many a piece of my ongoing collective works titled “Kindred Kingdom” - where I focused on the rare and threatened species - I painted them larger than life purposefully and they were all airbrushed painted with oil paint for the longevity (something many creatures don’t have) - so it become a magnificent and fragile thing … if Bay Area bound you can see it in person in downtown San Rafael @ The C. Grace Gallery on 4th st (between Cst. And Dst. ) along with glazedandconfused pottery studio. I’ll be posting some goodies soon so keep liking :) sharing :) and if you fancy … go visit. Available to purchase and prints available on request (sizes vary)

Work in progress. caves, canyons and sea stacks - landscape work is something I’m still in a journey with. I keep finding myself drawn to the rocks, the cavern and caves - the lonely sea stacks that stand as sole rock guards against the tides and constant tear from the seas and oceans - something special them all. - soon enough the technique will find itself the right course to take :)

Sketch pad throwback. Early days of DJing I had no clue for a name. A recently shaved head gave some witty git the brilliant idea to call me a monk. So being me I spelled it wrong and slapped my initial at the end. DJ Munk.E … (and this was before DJing at the bar Funky Munky in Sarf Landun ;) … amazing what old sketchbooks bring up - many old ideas worthy of some new funky sticker designs me tinks
