In May 2024, our family member Pema Chhiring Sherpa Pema Sherpa ,one of the few IFMGA-certified Everest guides, carried Himalayan Kitchen to the summit of Mt. Everest — the highest place on earth.
With 24 successful Everest summits, his journey represents strength, dedication, and true Himalayan spirit.
This is not just Himalayan Kitchen’s pride —
this is San Rafael and Marin County standing on top of the world.
As he prepares for his 25th climb this April/May,
