Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Marin County Civic Center to work with the natural landscape, not against it. The sweeping buildings follow the contours of the surrounding hills, creating a design that feels like it belongs right where it stands.

Wright described his vision as a way to “bridge these hills.” More than 60 years later, the Civic Center remains one of the most striking examples of his organic architecture.

The 41st Annual Harmony Sweepstakes A Ca****la Festival: 2026 National Finals comes to the Marin Center on October 17th!

Regional winners from across the country will come together for an unforgettable night of world-class vocal harmony and a ca****la music, competing for the title of National Champion.

Beginning October 1, When Simon Met Ralph: A Retrospective brings the work of Marin-based designers Simon Ungless and Jody Niederkohr to the Marin Civic Center. Known for their sustainable luxury brand’s one-of-a-kind “rehabbed” fashion and home accessories, the exhibition brings together archival favorites, new work, signature prints, sculptural pieces, and a new ceramic collaboration with Susan McKinney.

Spanning the first and third floor galleries, the retrospective offers a rare look at the expansive creative world of When Simon Met Ralph, all set against the iconic architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Civic Center.
