So lovely to be in California, we had a great day off in Oakland and Berkeley and a lovely first show at the Napa Grange last night. Can’t wait to return and take you all up on visits to vineyards!!! Tonight we are in San Rafael and have a show at the HQ - come along!

So yesterday started out like this.. thanks to Nancy for the loan of her car to jump ours, and tech support over FaceTime from Fin and Ben! We got underway and halfway to VT the tyre pressure light came on. Then we hit the Vermont side roads and all of their pot holes and mud.. We made it to Lincoln and were treated to delicious, restorative soup, made from Beth’s home-grown veggies, and a plate of cookies saved for after the show by the Kitchen Sisters! Two brilliant young fiddlers played a crackin’ set: Henry and Eli. And we had such a lovely time playing for a brilliant Vermont crowd - who joined us for a Townes VZ song and filled the hall with their voices. Massive thank to Beth and all at Burnham presents, as well as Barbara and Chris for such a cosy play to lay our heads.
