My personal belief and philosophy in photography is that I am participating in my surroundings through the power of observation. Observation and being aware of what’s around you can turn everyday, mundane, boring things into something much more wonderful. Much of my work focuses on geometric shapes and lines. I am drawn to these things because of how unusual yet familiar these shapes are. We all know what a circle, a line, or a square looks like. But seeing these out in the open during a spontaneous moment can be jarring and fascinating.“
