I have been teaching private in person photography / photoshop classes for many years and the three most challenging things for me to over come have been dealing with misinformation, scheduling times and distance.
Misinformation happens with a person takes a group class and doesn't have the chance to ask the questions or get the answers they need. The result is that the student tries to make the bad information work - which it won't - or simply gives up.
Scheduling is an issue because we all lead such busy lives and trying to carve out time to pursue and art can seem impossible.
Distance is a problem if someone lives outside the North Bay area because people don't want to deal with traffic a/o the bridges. All of those challenges have been overcome by teaching these classes via live streaming video.
Now the student can ask the questions they need answered, schedule the classes that work best for them and they can take the classes anywhere in the world.
