The Power With Grace

💕 This is our Pink Pony Club! 💕

Sometimes we dance for fun.
Sometimes we dance to make a difference.

Thank you to all the dancers and donors who helped us raise $1637 for Boarding for Breast Cancer Boarding For Breast Cancer ™ this past weekend. It was our 7th annual (and 9th) fundraiser and we have raised $29,114 over the years by dancing together!

B4BC’s mission is to educate young people about early detection and to promote healthy, active lifestyles as the best means of breast cancer prevention.

Thank you to B4BC’s co-founder, Lisa Hudson Lisa Hudson for collaborating with Stop Drop and Dance and to all the sponsors that gave out goodies: LivOn Labs Vitamins, Sun Bum Facial Scrubs, and PRODA Protein sodas.

Thank you to our 6 honorary survivors who came up to speak about their breast cancer journey: Shel, Karisa Stuart, Brand Strategist / Writer, Amy Poirier, Ashley Stachon, and Shelley Marwah, and to Catherine Granville and Ariana Amini for all their work decorating, setting up, and breaking down for the event.

Save the date for our next dance for a cause event on Tuesday, October 27th for Bridge the Gap in honor of Bonnie Berrill Kirkpatrick and her 60th birthday!

🐚 Happy Birthday Catherine Granville! 🐚

We celebrated Catherine’s birthday last Thursday with a 65 minute hot and sweaty Stop Drop and Dance class made up of her favorite songs!

Catherine chose a mermaid theme, so we came in all shades of blue and turquoise clothes. In addition, she brought fun shell hair clips for all of us to accessorize our outfits with! Thank you to Erin Larkin Meyers for her spontaneous and perfect dollar store backdrops and Happy Birthday also to Shel Saxon who was brought up front by Catherine to dance one of the songs 🎉

After class, we did some shopping! If you’re looking for some beautiful, unique, ocean and nature inspired jewelry, check out Catherine’s small business, Radiant Sea Studio!

Congratulations on truly becoming an amazing jewelry maker Catherine!

Join us this Tuesday, September 15th at 9:30am U U Congregation of Marin as we celebrate Karen Wright’s birthday Karen Lee Wright with a FLOWERS theme! 🌸. See our full schedule and sign up to join us on Zoom or in-person:
