We have an unexpected guest! Who can blame a fella for wanting to live is such a great home in such a wonderful part of the world. He’s enjoying the progress almost just as much as we are.
We got this beam in first try! With two didn’t elevations on either side of existing structure we measured twice cut once and she fit perfectly. With high dollar engineered lumber it’s best to do things right the first time. The fact it’s level is a huge plus ;)

Restoring a piece of history isn’t always pretty. It involves dust, heavy machinery, and a lot of sweat.
We’ve finished shoring and started the demo on this compromised foundation. Dealing with a century of wear and tear is a challenge, but knowing we’re making this home safe and stable for the future is why we do what we do.

Old homes always have a story to tell—sometimes, it’s just a little more “dramatic” than we planned! 🏠🛠️
What started as a deck rebuild and window install on this 1929 classic turned into a full-scale rescue mission. After spotting termite activity, we opened the walls to find significant structural damage and a foundation that had seen better days.
We’ve officially shored up the first and second floors and are currently stabilizing the foundation to ensure this home stands strong for another 100 years. It’s a dirty job, but someone’s gotta save the history! FoundationRepair

Hargrove Construction has happily collaborated with this build assisting in the construction of a retaining wall, drilling piers, setting posts, and lagging. Among other things we’ve crated a set of stairs, railing, and are working hard on creating a storage space under the clients foyer.

Replacing a ceiling light fixture in a stair well on a vaulted ceiling can seam daunting. Having experience building custom scaffolding we were able to complete this project quickly and safely. Shout out to Charles electric for calling us to help with the installation and our team for the exceptional work.
