A fun tea set out of the electric kiln recently. I love sets they really capture the best things about hand made pottery: sharing time over food or drink with people.

I’m really loving this little bulb vase. This glaze palette is probably my current favorite. The offset openings and fullness of the oval form are very satisfying. This started as a sphere when it was thrown and then after trimming the bottom round it is indented and paddled to give it its final form.

This one is still available in my online shop. Link in bio.

These forms are really inspired by both coastal and desert rock formations shaped by wind and water and circumstance. I’ll forever love the way the flame and ash accentuate these curves and nooks and crannies and ridges.

This special little whiskey sipper is my favorite I’ve kept. I made it probably 6 years ago fired in the wood soda mendocinoartcenter these purples and reds aren’t something you see often.

This is a special cup I’ve kept. It’s a clay body I formulated for soda during a short residency redlodgeclaycenter2 a few years ago now. It’s something I’d love to revisit whenever I have more steady access to a soda kiln.
