🎉Starting May 1st, every first of the month we'll be hosting community food drives to keep our fridges full! Thank you, everyone, for keeping this community fed♡ This work only happens with individual community members like you stepping up!

Apply today! The waiting list for the Vallejo Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is open until March 5, 2024 at 5pm! This is the first time since 2015 that the city of Vallejo has opened the Section 8 waiting list so do not delay!

Residents who wish to be added to the lottery for a chance at placement on the waitlist must apply online by March 5, 2024 at 5:00 pm.

The applicant’s income must not exceed 50% of the median income for the Vallejo/Fairfield area, which ranges from $40,050 per year for one person, to $75,550 for a family of eight. Applicants must be 18 years or older or legally emancipated, be a U.S. citizen, or have eligible immigration status.

Did you know we are a Coordinated Entry Cite? If you are a between the ages of 18-25 and experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness we can help get you into CE, provide resources, and help support you with your basic needs. Our unhoused neighbors are hurting in this cold and rainy weather! MCF and Juntxs for Change teamed up today to put together care packages, and make some PB & Js and warm meals of pasta! You can too! Our neighbors need us!
It's as easy as grabbing some snacks, fresh socks, and waters and divvying them up into bags & just passing them out! Collect jackets, blankets, rain ponchos- anything warm or that can keep people dry!

On 12/15/2023 former SRPD officers Brandon Nail and Daisy Mazariegos ended their preliminary hearing and were bound over for trial. The arraignment is calendared for Tuesday December 26th at 9:00 am in Courtroom C. The trial date will be set, the charges will be read and the defendants will enter pleas. Please show up in support of Julio and his family and justice for our community. This should be quick not an all day thing.
