May Madness

Thank you to everyone who made it to Greg Borrelli’s 36th Annual May Madness Car Show in Downtown San Rafael. This year was a special one, as it marked the long-awaited return of the car that started it all: Greg’s 1932 Ford Roadster. For the first time in nearly 35 years, it paraded down 4th Street just as it did at the first May Madness in 1986 (as seen in the second and third photos). Here is our final version of this year's Artwork. I hope that everyone likes what we have done. The story behind this year's car selection is as follows: Greg Borrelli started the car show back in 1986 because he wanted a place to show off his restored 1932 Ford Roadster. In 1992, Greg fell on some hard times and sold his beloved Roadster to someone in Burbank. After that person passed away, his family put the car up for sale. We were fortunate to track it down and recently re-acquire Greg's car and bring it back to Marin. Please help us celebrate this reunion by attending the May Madness Car Show on Saturday, May 9th, where you can see the car that started it all.

This is draft number two for this year's car show poster. We had two roadsters in the first draft of the poster, but the powers to be think just having the one car will make the poster pop more. Any enhancements we should consider on this draft. Save the date Saturday May 9th in downtown San Rafael for this years MayMadness car show.
