CIP Ongoing Psychoanalytic Case Consultation: Integrating Clinical Cases and Theory with Dr. Fred Rozendal, PhD

Psychotherapists present case material, and the group engages in deep thinking and discussion of the clinical implications for your work while conceptualizing from various psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspectives. This exploration provides insights into your clinical practice, your clients’ development, and the moment-by-moment changes that enhance your understanding of the clinical process. A collaborative and supportive atmosphere is encouraged as we consider the possibilities of producing the client’s current situation and suggestions for intervention or next steps in the clinical work.

Join Kristian Kemtrup, PhD, LMFT for a continuing education seminar exploring patients who present with emotional constriction or little interest in their own experience. Grounded in psychoanalytic and developmental perspectives, the seminar will explore “going-on-being,” “soul blindness,” therapeutic neutrality, and ways clinicians can foster deeper engagement.
