San Rafael Fire Explorer Post 51

Our San Rafael Fire Explorers honored the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice with the 9/11 Stair Climb. Using our training tower to scale 110 floors in their gear to simulate the climb the brave heroes made on that day.
The climb is a small gesture compared to the unimaginable sacrifice those firefighters made that day. We climb to remember, to honor, and to never forget. They followed it with first-in-company evolutions, including pre-connect hose line deployment and fireground skills.
