I get to tell stories every day, but this one really touched me and my photographer. I’m so grateful that I was able to share DJ’s story. He was only 17, and he loved Jesus, and so does his family.

My bestie and colleague Zoe is leaving KSBW 🙁 We are truly two peas in a pod. Me and Zoe’s bond is so special because we started at KSBW on the same day back in July 2024, and from day one we clicked. Two girls fresh out of college, starting our careers.

God was so intentional in allowing us to connect, because she has become a best friend in real life. We do life together. She has seen me at my best and wiped my tears and shown up for me during some of the hardest seasons of my life, literally. HA.

I could write a whole book about the amazing memories me and Zoe have shared and how much I love her, but I will miss her so much. Thank you for making California so amazing. I’ll miss our hikes, trying new restaurants, and every spontaneous moment in between.

Thank you for being such an incredible friend and for encouraging me to be a better one.

Trying not to trip because, as they say, it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So excited for what the Lord has in store for you outside of news 🤍
