Seven days from now, a product owner can stop staring at a blank story.
AI for Product Owners and Product Managers is a live four-hour class on Friday, October 9, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT. It is built for Scrum Product Owners, Product Managers, and team leads who already own a backlog. No prior AI experience is required.
An experienced AI trainer leads the session. Rod Claar has 30 years in software and 20 years teaching Scrum. He teaches from real product work, not a slide deck. You will practice prompt patterns for backlog refinement, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint prep. You will also practice when to trust, edit, or reject an AI answer.
A Certificate of Completion from AgileAIDev.com is included. The seat is $299. Only 12 seats, so each person gets direct coaching.

When pilots are in training, they learn to read instructions back to the controller and then check that they actually understood them. It feels unnatural at first. It's also what keeps everyone safe.
Working with AI needs the same habit. The tool gives you an answer, and someone has to confirm it before the team acts on it.
That's the mindset behind AI-Augmented Scrum for Product Teams, October 6-7, live and virtual, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific. Two days of hands-on practice using AI in discovery, backlog work, Sprint events, and code review and quality checks.
$495 through 11:59 PM Pacific this Friday, October 2, then $695. Twelve seats. Certificate of Completion included.

Thursday’s Product Owners left with more than a file named Certificate.pdf. Each one received a Certificate of Completion printed with their own name — and a method they can use on the next backlog.
AI for Scrum Product Owners and Product Managers ran live September 24. Four hours. Rod Claar, CST, walked the room through prompt patterns for story writing, backlog ordering, and stakeholder updates. The model drafted. The Product Owner decided. That line is the job.
A named certificate marks the work. It does not replace the work. Students now draft INVEST stories faster, split oversized items before refinement, and prep Sprint Planning with options instead of a blank page. AI-Enhanced Scrum stays human where it must: priority, risk, and the call on what not to build.
The next live session is October 9. Same class. Same named certificate. Same cap of twelve seats.

Forty-two percent of developers now say AI writes at least half their code. Last year that number was twelve.
The extra hours did not land in clearer Sprint Goals. They landed in review queues. Two-thirds of those same developers now spend more time checking AI drafts than writing from scratch. Half spend more time fixing problems the model introduced. Scrum events still assume a person typed every line.
That lag is expensive. Tools change every quarter. Team agreements do not. An Agile practitioner who cannot name when AI drafts and when a human decides will keep shipping faster waste. Product Owners inherit stories they cannot defend. Scrum Masters run ceremonies on private prompts no one inspects.
Live practice is how you close the gap. Generative AI For Scrum Teams runs September 29–30. AI-Augmented Scrum for Product Teams follows October 6–7. Role sessions for Scrum Masters and Product Owners land October 8 and 9. Rod Claar, CST, teaches each one.

What if your Scrum team's AI problem isn't the AI at all?
Many leaders buy ChatGPT or Copilot licenses and wait for speed to show up. Then delivery stays flat. Quality slips. People quietly paste company data into public tools.
Tools don't change how a team works. Practice does.
Generative AI for Scrum Teams gives your Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers two days of hands-on practice with AI inside real Scrum work. Think sharper Sprint Planning inputs, faster Sprint Review summaries, clearer Retrospective follow-ups, and AI-assisted tests and code review.
It also covers the step most rollouts skip: guardrails. Clear team agreements on privacy, IP, bias, and who makes the final call.
Live and virtual, Sept 29–30, 2026. Special price: $299 per seat, $100 off the regular $399.

Sprint Planning had run 40 minutes over, and the stories still weren't ready.
Maria, the Product Owner, had used ChatGPT to draft them the night before. The developers pushed back. The acceptance criteria were vague. Nobody knew which parts came from AI and which came from her.
The tool wasn't the problem. The team had no shared way to use it.
That's the gap Generative AI for Scrum Teams closes. In two live, virtual days, your team practices AI-assisted story writing and refinement together. You learn prompts that sharpen acceptance criteria. You agree on when AI helps and when it gets in the way. And people keep ownership of every decision.
The class runs Sept 29–30, 2026, led by Rod Claar, Certified Scrum Trainer. Special price: $299 per seat (regular $399).
