❤️🖤 A huge THANK YOU to the incredible volunteer crew from Keller Williams for recently spending the day with us at our Family Building Blocks Helen's Place location!

This crew supported with sorting diapers for children and families, organizing and stocking our food pantry, and helping us prepare for our annual Uncorked event.

🎸❤️ 🎶 It's official - VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES are OPEN for Capital City LIVE on July 31 featuring country star Jon Pardi! Get your cowboy boots on and join us for this fun summer event in Salem. We have a variety of volunteer roles, all happening at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. Sign up with a friend! You will receive FREE admission to the concert, whether that means returning after your shift or enjoying the music while you're on shift.

Please note: Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older. All positions will require working outdoors on concrete and the ability to be mobile for the duration of your shift.

❤️💙💛 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY at Spring Family Night at Doris's Place - Family Building Blocks in Stayton on June 16. We are looking for several volunteers to help make Family Night at Doris's Place a fun and memorable evening for our partnering families and children in the Canyon.

Roles include:
★ SETUP AND CLEAN UP
★ FACE PAINTING
★ SCAVENGAR HUNT
★ SERVING FOOD TO FAMILIES

Capital City LIVE! Is a benefit fundraiser show for Family Building Blocks presented by Bonaventure Senior Living.

About Jon: Jon Pardi, country music’s California cowboy, has brought the West Coast to Nashville with four Top 5 albums on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, four platinum-certified No. 1 singles on the Country Airplay chart, and six North American headlining tours since 2014. The Dixon, California native moved to Music City and cut his teeth opening for Dierks Bentley before releasing a slew of successful singles, including 2012’s “Missin’ You Crazy” and 2013’s ‘Up All Night,” ahead of his debut album Write You a Song in 2014. Pardi’s 2016 follow-up, California Sunrise, featured his first two Country Airplay No. 1 singles, “Head Over Boots” and “Dirt on My Boots,” while 2022’s Mr. Saturday Night hosted his highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100, “Last Night Lonely.” In 2023, he became the first California native to be invited to join the Grand Ole Opry. ❤️💙💛 Our Young Leaders Council is hosting the first ever YLC Co****le Tournament in partnership with the TopWire Hop Project in Woodburn! Grab a partner and enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition and community on Sunday, June 28 at 1:00 PM.

The cost is $20 for a team of two and all proceeds will go directly to supporting children and families with Family Building Blocks. Topwire will also be donating a $1 per drink back. Prizes include bragging rights and gift cards to Topwire!

🚲💙 There are some new wheels at Doris's Place - Family Building Blocks!! A huge THANK YOU to Stayton Mayor Brian Quigley for his generous donation of five brand-new bikes for our playground! Watching the children gather around and eagerly open the boxes was so special. The excitement on their faces made it clear that these new bikes will bring so much joy!

We are so grateful for our local community's support of children and families. Thank you for "Keeping Children Safe and Families Together" with Family Building Blocks.
