Today is Earth Day 🌎 Celebrate today by going out and planting a tree, taking a walk, recycling, hugging a tree, sitting outside, watering any plants you might own, or taking care of the plant you bought on National Gardening Day. 😉

This week is Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

This year’s theme— LISTEN. ACT. ADVOCATE. Protect Victims, Serve Communities. —is a reminder that support starts with truly hearing people’s experiences, taking meaningful steps to help, and standing up for the rights and dignity of every victim.

✔️ Listening builds trust.
✔️ Action creates change.
✔️ Advocacy ensures no one is left unheard.

When victims are supported, communities are stronger, safer, and more connected. Everyone deserves to feel seen, protected, and like they belong.

Reporting Sanctuary Promise violations will help communities receive the support they need.

If you see or suspect a violation, please report it.

We want to:

Support those who witnessed, have been the victim of, or were impacted by violations of Oregon’s Sanctuary Promise Laws.

Refer witnesses, victims, and community members to services that can help.

Inform and support Sanctuary Promise investigations.

Track violations and inform the public about who is violating laws and identify trends.
