Little Critters Rescue

It's that time of year again for Santa Paws photos. This year we'll be doing them in November instead of December. Rebecca with Noses Tails Paws Pet Photography will be taking these great photos for us in her studio. The proceeds will benefit Operation DOG and Little Critters Rescue. LuLu update

She got spayed and had a dental last Wednesday. She has had a very quick recovery. She lost 27 teeth and only has her two lower canines left. She hasn't let this slowed her down. Even though we use a low cost surgery Clinic hervetteville was still $1,250. We now had we gone to a regular Clinic it would have been at least twice this. We were thankful to get her in at a reduced cost. However when we take away what her adoption fee covers we will still be at a deficit of $900. We're hoping to raise some funds to help cover those costs. Below is a picture of her and her recovery suit and after is her with her top knot. She will be getting a bath and groomed next week. We have learned these past couple of weeks from her foster that she is not looking for a retirement home. She runs and plays like she is a puppy. She loves to go for walks. She loves squeaky toys and will steal them from other dogs and hide them in her bed. Is she will also run and chase other dogs. We are looking to place her in a home that has another active small dog so she will have a playmate to play with. We are going to try to choose the one that will be the best fit for her. We do require a meet and greet with existing family pets. We also do a home check and a two-week trial adoption. FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED ASAP! LOCATED IN SALEM, OREGON!!

This is Pepper he is an 8 year old Maltese/Yorkie mix. He is current on vaccines and neutered. One of his owners passed away and the other one is unable to continue to care for him. He is looking for a home with older children. He enjoys going for short walks and hanging out with his family. He does need to work on losing a few pounds. We will be getting him into the Vet for an overall health exam. He used to live with a beagle but it has been a while since he's been around other dogs. We will do slow intros when meeting a potential new dog sibling. Below is up photo with his summer haircut and one with his winter haircut. URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED IN SALEM, OREGON!!

**DISCLAIMER; Rude comments or opinions will be DELETED. If you don't have anything helpful to say than say nothing. These two dogs need help, their owners reached and we offered to try and find placement for them. We can only help them if we can find fosters. They are attached to each other, but if they need to be split up we can do that. The reason for their rehoming should not matter. Oddie is fully vetted, but we will get him in at our vet to get a clean bill of health. Molly needs to be spayed. We'll get her in for an check up & to be spayed.

Oddie (small tan dog) he is about 10 years old. Currently had an over grown mass on his chest but vet confirmed it’s not dangerous for his health. He is still super active. He is fixed. Current on vaccines. He barks, but eventually stops. Is never usually around people. He is attached to Molly.

Molly: (the husky) She’s 5 years old and LOVES to play. Not fixed. No health issues. Current on vaccines. Great with other dogs. Also super attached to oddie.

Sweet Sadie Rae is so ready for her new home! She still has a lot to work on. But she would love to go to an experienced owner who knows herding breeds and can continue her training. Sadie could be a great sports prospect. She has drive, she’s agile, quick and eager to please. She’s quirkiness in a compact package! Today Sadie, Buzz, Ollie & Maurice will be at Pet Etc hanging out with the Operation DOG team! We'll be collecting your refundable cans and bottles. We also have blue bags available for pickup. Hope to see you there!

All adoption fees include one complementary evaluation in training session with a local trainer who also fosters for us.

This Saturday September 26th we'll be at Pet Etc from 10am-1pm we'll have multiple adoptable dogs at the event. Watch out page for a list of who will be at the event. We'll be hanging out with the Operation DOG outreach team. We'll also be collecting your refundable bottle and cans. We'll also have blue bags there to pick up too.

FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED!

Let's welcome Ollie (short for Olive) to LCR! She's a one and a half year old Doxie/Yorkie mix or a Dorkie for short. She has a long body and short Doxie tail. She has a Yorkie coat & nubbin tail. Her vaccines & spay history is unknown. We'll get her into the vet to be vaccinated, microchip and spayed. She's a social butterfly. She loves people young and old. She's lived with dogs big and small. She does well in the car and on a leash. She unfortunately is a casualty of her parents divorce. Her mom moved out of state and her dad was evicted from his home. His sister took her in. We connected after she decided finding Ollie a new home is what's best for her.
