We did some experiments with colors last week. The students had observed how the colors affected each other when interacting with the colored blocks, so we got out the liquid watercolors and decided to do some color mixing to see what colors we could make. When we finished we recorded our new colors on some watercolor paper.

Our Halloween scavenger hunt was a lot of fun! The children worked together and used their many developing skills to find and mark off the spooky images hidden around our classroom. This was a great opportunity for students to work on observing small differences between similar images and their communication and memory skills as they tried to help others find images that they had already located. It was so much fun we will definitely be having more scavenger hunt for other things in the future!

We are working with Oregon Charter Academy to facilitate our new program, Mosaic School Support. A home school program for working parents, children enroll in the virtual program at ORCA and spend their days here at Mosaic. We help them get on to access their classes, complete their assignments, and stay up to date with any communication with their teachers at ORCA. We also provide social-emotional curriculum enhancements, music lessons, and community visitors. Help children learn in their best way at Mosaic!
