Reader's Guide is the oldest independent bookstore in Salem, Oregon. We opened in February of 1983. We are located on Edgewater in West Salem.
We do NOT have an online store of any kinda and books are NOT available to purchase online.

Make sure you stop by THIS Saturday, the 25th, for Independent Bookstore Day! We will be having author signings, a dirty soda truck, sidewalk sales and more. We're also partnering with Book Bin again this year for the passports and giveaways! Come visit us!

It has come to our attention that someone has created a .shop account for Reader's guide. THIS IS NOT US!!!! We are looking into the fake account ,but wanted to let everyone know. It has all our correct information, except the correct email address, prices of books, and the fact that we do not ship. Please do not order from them. The website is readersguide.shop. Again this in not our account!!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the bookstore will be closed on Tuesday. January 13th and reopen on Wednesday, January 14th. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
