Our Willamette Valley 12u is off to a great start to their season. Going 2-0 in pool play at the PCYBL Tournaments & Leagues Season Kick-off.

In Game 1, these beat Longview Select 6-1 on the back of Jaxson Trammell's strong pitching. Jaxson (pictured) pitched 4 innings, allowing only 2 hits and zero runs!

In Game 2, a slugfest broke out. Drake led the way with a hit, 2 walks, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. He also came in in relief and got the final 3 outs to earn the save in a 14-11 win over the Lookouts.

They will be back in action tomorrow for our first bracket Sunday of the season.

This past week, players from our 12u, 14u and 16u teams, who are not occupied with other winter sports, jumped in the cage and got started on their season.

Our first youth tournament is March 29-30. So let the countdown begin.
