Get ready for a truckload of fun at the Sachse Farmers Market!

Join us this Saturday, October 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the 5th Street District for our special Touch-A-Truck event!

Bring the whole family out to explore City vehicles up close, meet some of the people who help keep Sachse running, and shop with our local farmers market vendors!

And don't forget your costumes! Kids are encouraged to dress up and enjoy a little early Halloween fun by trick-or-treating at the trucks!

Check out the map below for event parking, Farmers Market vendors, and the designated Touch-A-Truck area. Please follow the marked entry and exit routes to help keep traffic flowing safely.

Sachse is taking the next step on the 5th Street District.

The Economic Development Corporation has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a master developer to help build a walkable downtown on land the City and EDC already own near SH 78 and 5th Street.

What we want is a developer who understands the goal of creating a “Heart of Sachse” development. To us, that means unique restaurants, two- and three-story mixed-use buildings, office or live/work above, and a public gathering place that feels like our community’s living room.

Respondents may propose on a single phase or for the entire district.

This is a qualifications process. No land is sold and no incentive is awarded until a later agreement comes back to the Board.

Touch-A-Truck is rolling into the Sachse Farmers Market!
Join us Saturday, October 10 for a special market day featuring some of the vehicles that help keep our community moving. Get an up-close look at a Sachse Police vehicle, Sachse Fire-Rescue truck, CWD garbage truck, and more while you shop your favorite local vendors.

Pet Day is coming to the Sachse Farmers Market!

Join us Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a special pet-friendly morning at the market. In addition to your favorite Farmers Market vendors, visitors can shop pet-friendly vendors, pick up a free bandana for their furry friends, and meet adoptable animals from Sachse Animal Services.

Visitors are also encouraged to bring a jar of peanut butter for the Peanut Butter Bowl. Each donation will earn an entry for a chance to win a prize and receive a Sachse sticker.
