Juneteenth Holiday Closure

Ruston, LA - City Hall and the Utility Billing Office will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

There will be no recycle collection on Friday, June 19, 2026. Friday’s recycle routes will be picked up Wednesday, June 17th. The commercial garbage truck will not run on Friday, June 19th.

Memorial Day – Honoring Our Heroes

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice has secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and for that, we are forever grateful.

As we gather with friends and family, let’s also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and pay tribute to the heroes who never made it home. May we never forget their courage and sacrifice.

The City of Ruston remembers and honors our fallen heroes.

City Hall and all other City offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026.

🔴There will be no residential garbage and trash collection on Monday, May 25, 2026. Garbage pickup for Monday’s residential routes will be picked up on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
