🌿 Why I Don’t Use Bleach as a Professional Cleaner 🧚‍♀️✨

Bleach might look like the ultimate cleaner, but here’s the truth: it’s actually just a disinfectant.
If the surface isn’t already clean, bleach won’t disinfect it just bleaches what’s visible.

Here’s why it’s a no-go for me:
🧺 Spills on carpet or fabric = instant stains
💨 The fumes give me headaches and can irritate eyes, skin, and lungs
⚠️ Mixing it with other products can create toxic gases and yes, even Dawn mixed with bleach is unsafe
🧪 With a pH around 11–13, it’s highly alkaline and harsh on surfaces and finishes
💧 It only works in cold water hot water breaks down the active ingredient and makes it less effective

✨ The only exception: if a client already has a toilet bowl cleaner that contains bleach, I’ll use that. But straight bleach? It’s a no from me.

There are so many safer, more effective options like hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl alcohol that clean and disinfect without the harsh side effects.
