Bayou Overlander

Finally made it to my local trails at Ruston, LA in Lincoln Parish Park. Gonna work towards getting into much better shape. Having a disability has its issues and riding a bike is the best way to keep my legs in shape without destroying my ankles.

Chemical Brothers is great stuff; even better when you get them at less than half off! My 22 4Runner TRD Pro can shine up even with 80K+ miles.

ARB Zero 63Q has been performing for nearly three years now. Comes in handy when you live 25 miles from the nearest grocery store.

Finally got the ARB air tank installed and getting ready to install the manifold. Will be nice to have extra air to run air tools or help others out on the trail.

This Polygon Siskiu D7SE has made quite a transformation of sorts since I got it. Still a couple things to do.

Today I got the transmission (derailleur) shifting great. Took some trial and error to find the correct tension for the cable and barrel micro adjuster. So now it shifts smoothly and right into the next cog.

New wheels from Hunt are great and allow me to not miss climbing effort since the pawls on the freehub engage the wheel every 5° of rotation. Meaning the pedals don’t have that big gap of slack before it engages the rear wheel.

Ready to get this thing on some trails before Archer gets here! Our little boy won’t have a chance to be lazy!

Added another bike to the stable. This is the D7SE and will be my adventure ride out in the woods. Glad to be back on the single track again!
