Your Personal Math Professor
I provide tutoring to help non-math majors exceed (and have fun) in college math! Hello! My name is Alicia, and I am here to be your personal math professor!
I started tutoring off and on after graduating with my MS degree in Applied Math. Since then, I have obtained my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and have been an adjunct instructor for 6+ years with the University of Northwestern. I can help you with college math and statistics, including problem-solving and test-taking strategies. Additionally, I can help with academic/research writing and have enjoyed working with ESL students. A fun side fact about me is that I can speak conversational Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out/taking dance classes, and spending time with my family. I look forward to helping you develop and achieve your academic goals!
