Rotterdam Community Center

A place where neighbors of all backgrounds can gather without fear to support, learn & grow together.
The “three legs” of our open table, all crosscut by a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, are:
1) food security
2) mental health & wellbeing
3) arts, culture & self expression
Formed by the historic 2021 consolidation of the former Trinity Reformed Church into Messiah Lutheran, Trinity's former church space is now a resource for everyone in our community, no matter their religious affiliation! We host a wide variety of regular weekly offerings from Movie Night to 12 Step Programs, Community Crafters to Zumba, Board Game Night and Yoga. The Rotterdam Community Center also houses our Bread of Life Food Pantry and Produce Pantry programs. We also regularly host community concerts and other one-time arts and culture events, all which can be found on the 'events' tab of our page.

Spooky Season is officially in full swing, and we have a full week of activities ahead! Don't miss our Community Movie Night this Saturday, showing Hocus Pocus 2, and we have our new chair yoga class, making it's full time debut! Have a great week, and always, we hope to see you there!

We need help unloading our Produce Delivery Tomorrow! If you can lift boxes of Produce, and are free for about 30 minutes around 12:45, please come help us out!

Huge shoutout to Regional Food Bank and Unity House of Troy, Inc. today for this wonderful restock event! Our pantries are so thankful for this wonderful donation!
Being able to attend these restock events is only possible thanks to the wonderful Van on loan from Sycamore Collaborative! Truly this is what a spirit of cooperation can achieve!
Hey Neighbors! Are there 1-2 volunteers available now to come help Zeta unload a bigger-than-expected (yay! 👏🏻) food donation?

Many thanks Rotterdam for a truly inspiring Annual Community Roundtable!!! We saw so many new faces and heard such great ideas, particularly around strengthening our programming around being a “third space” for young people and providing more opportunities for workforce development!
As you heard, we have about $150,000 to go to reach our goals by the end of the year, so please contribute today at https://bit.ly/RotterdamCC2026!!!
It takes a community to build a community center and thank you for your support!!!!
