Kitchen Bath Beautiful

This galley kitchen was ready to be updated. The raised panel doors needed replacing and the 30" cabinets needed to be modified to make this kitchen more functional and elegant. We extended the upper cabinets by 18" to take them to the ceiling. We then built new cabinet doors and drawer faces and installed them with soft-close hinges and new pulls.

The exterior of the cabinets was completed with new paint and crown molding. In addition to the outside cabinet improvements, we built new drawers with soft-close under-mount drawer glides and installed 21" full extension base cabinet pullouts. We then installed new prefinished wood shelves in all of the cabinets. These cabinets now look brand new inside and out.

This kitchen was updated with custom-built flat panel doors to replace the raised panel doors that the paint was peeling off. The front of the bar cabinet was modified from a two-door cabinet with a pull-out cutting board to a three-draw unit. We built a custom back panel and added a door on the back to take advantage of the hidden storage space. To improve accessibility, we also added 8 full extension pull-outs in the pantry and oven cabinets.

This kitchen is a chef's dream with 41 cabinet doors and 20 drawers; it is not lacking for storage. What was missing was a contemporary look and organizers to maximize the storage space. To fix this, we built all new cabinet doors with concealed soft-close hinges and new draw faces. For 12 cabinets, we added single and double full-extension pull-out shelf organizers for easy access. We also modified the oven cabinet to accept a new double oven while providing a new full-extension drawer underneath.

Here is our most recent kitchen transformation. We started by building extensions on top of the cabinets and removed the cabinet over the bar and to the left of the sink. We built a new cabinet that extends from the countertop to the ceiling and features a hydraulic door to allow for hidden countertop storage. Because organization was key to these homeowners, we converted the cabinets to the left and right of the oven to six 24" full extension draws. We added a spice rack to the right of the new drawers and installed full-extension pull-out racks in the pantry. To match the custom-built cabinet doors, we made a matching 8-foot back panel for the bar. We finished this kitchen off with new crown molding and simple but elegant door pulls.

This bathroom had severe water damage due to a previous contractor not waterproofing the tub/shower combination. Before any remodeling could begin, the exterior wall and the subfloor had to be replaced. Once completed, we built a custom shower complete with a bench seat and shelf. We also installed new LVP flooring, vanities, linen cabinets, and lighting fixtures.
