POSTPONED TO JUNE 24
🌅 Reclaiming the I-74 Bridge Walk 🌅
When people associate one of the many bridges in the Quad Cities with mental health, it is rarely a positive association.
We're working to change that.
The truth is that the river, nature, movement, and meaningful connection can be powerful tools for supporting our mental health. They give us space to breathe, reflect, reconnect with ourselves, and engage with the world around us in healthy ways.
We saw that firsthand last summer during our weekly hikes through local parks. This summer, we're taking that idea in a new direction.
We're reclaiming the I-74 Bridge.
Young adults ages 17-29, join us on Wednesday, June 17 at 7:00 PM as we walk together across the bridge, take in the beauty of the Mississippi River, and experience the sunset from a new perspective. Together, we can create new stories and new associations for spaces in our community.
Let's be the agents of change we want to see.
And because every good adventure deserves a sweet ending, we'll celebrate afterward with dessert together.

His Journey: Edwin’s Story of Purpose, Community, and Legacy - Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber For Edwin, purpose was never something that simply appeared one day. It was built through struggle, sacrifice, community, and the people who believed in him long before he fully believed in himself.
