Good news keeps coming from Haiti! 🌱

These homegrown vegetables are more than just healthy food, they're a symbol of sustainability, self-reliance, and the bright future being cultivated every day at the school.

From new construction progress to thriving gardens, the students and staff continue to inspire us with what can be accomplished through determination, education, and community support.

Every seed planted is helping nourish both bodies and dreams. 💚

A morning like this reminds us why we do what we do. ❤️

Today, we woke up to a very pixilated message from Jean Marc Brissau, founder of École L'Erudit de Léogâne, Haiti. For the first time in several years, he is back on the ground at the school after ongoing unrest made travel difficult and unsafe.

Even from afar, Jean Marc never stopped leading. He closely monitored the school's growth, construction projects, and, most importantly, the students whose lives are being changed through education every day.

Seeing him on the campus is a powerful reminder of resilience, hope, and the impact of a community that refuses to give up.

Despite extraordinary challenges, École L'Erudit continues to grow, educate, and inspire. The future is bright because of dedicated leaders like Jean Marc and the incredible students who fill the classrooms each day.

📚 The end of the road for these notebooks? NO WAY! A new chapter begins for students who need them most!

Thanks to a school-to-school recycling effort, more than 1/4 ton of books and school supplies have been given a second life and are now headed to the Boys & Girls Club of Tucson and Roberto Clemente School No. 8 in Rochester. A great example of how one community's surplus can become another student's opportunity. Way to go, everyone who helped make this happen! 📚✨

⭐ Superstar Status: Maddie! ⭐

As she prepares to graduate from Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women and head to University of Notre Dame this fall, we want to give a special shoutout to Maddie for her incredible dedication to InterVol.

For the past four years, Maddie has led Mercy's Repurposed Unused School Supply drive, helping collect an amazing 2,215 pounds of school supplies that will be redistributed to students and schools in need around the world.

What started as a school project became a lasting commitment to service, and the impact of her leadership will continue long after graduation.

Thank you, Maddie, for making a difference, inspiring others to give back, and showing what one dedicated student can accomplish.

We can't wait to see all the great things ahead for you! Notre Dame Club of Rochester

☘️ Go Irish! ☘️

Saturdays are reserved for football. ☘️🏈

With just 3 months until Notre Dame Fighting Irish football kickoff, members of the Notre Dame Club of Rochester are keeping the Irish spirit alive at InterVol — sorting medical supplies, supporting global health efforts, and proving the best teams know how to serve others on and off the field. 🌎💙

What a year it’s been. 💙

A huge thank you to Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women for hosting so many sorting events with InterVol this year.

From repurposing medical supplies to learning the value of service, these students are being reminded at a young age that even small acts of kindness can make a global impact. 🌎

We’re grateful for the energy, compassion, and willingness to give back shown by every student who walked through our doors this year.

Congratulations to Dan Meyers — InterVol Board Member and longtime community leader — on being selected as the recipient of the 87th Rochester Rotary Award, one of Rochester’s most respected honors recognizing those who truly embody “Service Above Self.” 👏❤️

Through his leadership at Al Sigl, his service across the Rochester community, and his work with InterVol, Dan has impacted countless lives. We’ve also had the privilege of seeing that commitment firsthand when he traveled with us to Belize on a medical mission trip, serving others with compassion and humility.

Dan will be honored on June 10, and tickets are still available for the evening celebration through Rochester Rotary. www.rochesterrotary.org Rochester Rotary

When it comes to Belize medical trips, the smiles come pretty effortlessly. 🇧🇿❤️

Smile Day feels like the perfect excuse for InterVol’s Executive Director, Nicole Jones, to share a few silly selfies from along the way.

RISE AND SHINE! We’re trading excuses for early alarms, sore muscles, and a whole lot of purpose. 💪❤️

Join us this AM at Burn Boot Camp Pittsford as we honor Owen Williams — a nurse, traveler, and servant leader who believed deeply in showing up for others. From Rochester hospitals to Belize medical missions, Owen’s impact continues to inspire so many.

All workout camps will benefit InterVol, helping continue the mission Owen cared so much about. And after the sweat? Join us at Lock 32 to raise a glass and toast to Owen. 🍻

Sometimes the best way to honor someone is simple: show up, work hard, and do good together.
