CP Rochester

No challenge is too big for the dedicated team from Carestream at our Kings Highway IRA. Since 2016, they've helped keep the extensive landscaping looking its best, and this year was no exception—mulching gardens, painting the shed, and filling flower beds with a generous mix of annuals and plants, many from their own gardens. Their hard work, generosity, and enthusiasm make a lasting impact every year.

For more than 15 years, the Butler/Till team has helped care for the grounds at our Benedict Road IRA. This year, they rolled up their sleeves to plant, w**d, mulch, and refresh the landscaping, helping make the home look its very best. Their dedication to this project—and the special partnership they've built with Jeff who proudly serves as their "project supervisor" each year—makes their visit one we always look forward to.

Our preschoolers had a blast at Field Day today! From games and activities to lots of running, laughing, and cheering, it was a day full of fun and smiles.

Day of Caring Project Highlight 🌱

First American Equipment Finance spent their Day of Caring in our adult Day Habilitation program creating interactive grass gardens with participants. Now in their fifth year, their team brings such meaningful hands-on engagement each visit—we can’t wait to see what grows!

A big thank-you to the Paychex team for another incredible United Way Day of Caring visit at our Winton site. With over 12 years of support, this amazing group spent the day mulching, w**ding our outdoor classroom, and even building carts for our Day Habilitation program. We’re always grateful to welcome them back—and to see their signature “rock” photo tradition continue year after year!

First up — an amazing team AND our 2026 Volunteers of the Year Nixon Peabody LLP. For more than 25 years, they have been dedicated supporters of our mission and longtime friends of our Jefferson IRA.

This year, their team rolled up their sleeves and transformed the outdoor spaces with mulching, w**ding, raking, planting, and plenty of hard work to help make the home look beautiful for the individuals who live there. 🌿🌸

Today’s Fun at Work treat cart was stocked with pink lemonade, classic lemonade, and plenty of cookies to brighten everyone’s day! Staff also entered a raffle for lemon-themed prizes — congratulations to Melissa & Emily, our lucky winners! 🥤🍪✨
