We took sweet Angie to the vet today for her checkup and vaccine update, and unfortunately, we have some concerning news. 😔❤️

🩺 Here's what we learned:
❤️ Angie has a significant heart murmur 😢
🩸 The good news? Her bloodwork looks good!
🐾 She also tested negative for a UTI.

Because of her heart murmur, our vet is recommending an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) to get a better look at her heart and determine whether she needs to start heart medication.

We need to raise $550 to cover Angie's echocardiogram AND her current vet bill. 🙏

We want to make sure this sweet girl gets the care she needs. She deserves to be comfortable, healthy, and loved. We can't know what her heart needs until we get this next test done, and we don't want finances to stand in the way of getting her answers. 💔

🚨 NEW INTAKE: MEET ROCKY 💔🐾

Tonight, ROC The Dogs Rescue welcomed a new little friend into our care. Based on his teeth, Rocky is estimated to be around 2–3 years old, and unfortunately, he is in rough shape.

Rocky is severely malnourished, dehydrated, anemic, and jaundiced. He also has a mild upper respiratory infection (URI).

He was found outside, wet and hanging from a trash can, seemingly trying to reach the trash bags inside to find something to eat. 😭 Thankfully, a kind person had Rocky on their mind and went out looking for him today, finding him in this heartbreaking situation. We are so grateful they didn't give up on him!

❤️ There is a little bit of positive news: Rocky is interested in food and water!

🏥 Tomorrow morning, Rocky has an appointment at Coldwater for an exam and medical workup. We need to learn more about his condition and what he needs to begin his road to recovery.

For tonight, he is safe and no longer has to search through garbage to survive. We will share updates as we learn more about this sweet boy.

About three days ago, we started noticing that something wasn't quite right with our sweet Daniel. He's been having some trouble with his back end and isn't walking as steadily as he normally does. Since then, we've been keeping a close eye on him, and today he is at Coldwater for an exam so we can hopefully figure out what is going on.

Thankfully, there are some positives. ❤️ Daniel is eating, drinking, and having normal stools, so we're very hopeful that we'll be able to figure out what is causing the issue with his back end.

As one of my current bottle babies, Daniel has already had so much love and care poured into him. 🍼🐱💙 We just want to make sure we get him whatever care he needs to get him back to his happy, playful self.

Please keep Daniel in your thoughts and prayers while we wait for answers from the vet. We will update everyone as soon as we know more.

🐾💔 LOOKING FOR FUNDS FOR OUR PRECIOUS NEMO(Orange) 💔🐾

Our sweet Nemo has been with his wonderful foster family for the last two months, and unfortunately, he has suddenly developed a very bloated abdomen. This came on unexpectedly, and we knew we needed to get him seen right away.

Nemo was seen at Coldwater yesterday, where he had a full exam and blood work done. His blood work showed that his bilirubin is elevated, which has us concerned about a possible abdominal issue or FIP (feline infectious peritonitis).

The next step is to test Nemo for feline coronavirus, and we are going to get him started on antiviral medication while we continue trying to figure out exactly what is going on.

So far, we are already about $400 into Nemo's medical workup, including his coronavirus testing. We don't have the exact cost of the antivirals yet, but we are expecting them to be quite expensive.

💔 This is one of those cases where we don't want finances to stand between Nemo and the care he needs.

🙏 We are looking for funds to help cover Nemo's medical care and upcoming antiviral treatment. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us continue fighting for this sweet boy.
