Unity in Disasters, Inc and CEO Joe Gill would like to extend our sincere thanks to the six former Tampa Bay Buccaneers players who generously took the time to autograph 12 footballs that were given away during Badge Bowl 2026 on May 30, 2026, at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Facility.
In addition to receiving an autographed football from Unity in Disasters as a keepsake, each recipient also received a laminated card highlighting the player's name, jersey, team, and years played in the NFL, creating a memorable connection to the athletes who supported this special event.
Beyond the autographed footballs, Unity in Disasters was proud to distribute an additional 100 footballs to children and teens in attendance
Through our partnership with the Tampa Police Department, we were able to bring local NFL alumni together to support children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in events like this due to physical limitations, illness, or other challenges. Together, we helped create lasting memories while strengthening the bonds between law enforcement, community leaders, athletes, and local families.
Thank you to our volunteers and everyone who helped make Badge Bowl 2026 a meaningful and memorable event for the children we serve. Tampa Police Department Deputy Chief Eric De Felice and Captain Ben Brown paved the way for Unity In Disasters, Inc., to directly support 1Voice Foundation and the pediatric cancer children and families it serves. Finally, our community impact partners, Former NFL CB Odie Harris, Buck20 Football Camp, Former NFL DL Paul Spicer with the Tampa Pi Lota Chapter Omega PSI PHI
