What a day on the diamond! The RUHS - Behavioral Health Recovery Opportunity Centers (ROC) Annual Softball Tournament was a home run celebration of recovery, teamwork, and fun. Held each May during Collaborative Court Month, the tournament brings together three regional teams, including players from Riverside, Indio, Blythe, and the Southwest area.
This year’s champs? The unstoppable Southwest team! Players included active Drug Court participants, proud graduates, and incredible staff from RUHS-Behavioral Health, Probation, and the District Attorney’s office.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support and cheer. Events like these are a fantastic way to promote recovery and positive connections in our community. We can’t wait to see you all back on the field next year!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2026 NAMI CA Southern Region Town Hall, co-hosted by and Nami San Jacinto and Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health (RUHS-BH) at Temecula Valley Hospital. Community members gathered for an evening of informative presentations on SB 43, the CARE Act, collaborative courts, crisis care, and substance use resources, followed by a Q&A with RUHS–BH experts.
Leaders from both NAMI and RUHS – BH emphasized the importance of accessible behavioral health services and early support for families and individuals. We’re grateful for the engagement and commitment from our residents, advocates, and local partners.
“Riverside County is committed to making behavioral health care and resources more accessible to residents throughout the region,” said Riverside County 3rd District Supervisor Chuck Washington.
