Drink of the week!

Deserted island

Ingredients
1 oz vodka
1 oz Malibu rum
1 oz blue curaçao
1 oz pineapple juice
Sprite

In a hurricane glass with ice, combine all ingredients, then fill with sprite and enjoy!

Here is a creative new drink for summer..

Cucumber Lime Mojito

Ingredients
1/2 lime (squeezed)
1/2 cucumber (sliced thin)
1 tsp. sugar (granulated not powdered)
5 sprigs of mint
2 oz Bacardi Light Rum
Sprite

How to...
Add your fresh lime juice, cucumber, mint, and sugar in a rocks glass, Muddle all ingredients together slightly, then add in the rum. Stir with a spoon, then add ice and sprite. Garnish with 2 or 3 sprigs of mint, a slice of cucumber and a slice or lime.

Drink of the Day!

This is a little something i like to call a Mermaid Tail.

Ingredients
1 oz Midori
1 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
1/2 fill Sweet and Sour
1/2 fill Sprite

Pour all ingredients in a hurricane glass with ice. This sweet but refreshing fairytale of a drink is sure to keep you bubbly!

Drink of the Day!

So i don't normally post a drink of the day but i figured that with the weather being so dodgy in the IE today, maybe i should start.

Here is a new take on a classic cocktail.

Strawberry Mojito

Ingredients
1 Tbsp. Sugar
4 Medium strawberries (diced)
1/4 cup Mint leafs
4 slices of Lime
1 oz Light Rum (I recommend using either Bacardi Silver or Malibu)
1/2 oz Chambord
Fill with Sprite
Garnish with Mint Leaf and a Strawberry

Here's how to make it...
In a pint glass, measure in your sugar, mint leafs, and your diced strawberries... muddle. (The contents may be a little pasty, don't panic!) After all the contents seem to be well combined, add in the rum, Chambord, and lime slices. Add ice to your glass and fill with Soda. Stir until all ingredients are combined. Garnish with your mint and strawberries and enjoy!
