Excited to announce show postcards have been mailed out! is hosting our Annual group show! Eastside Arthouse Presents
Outside The Lines
Curated by Juan Navarro and Jonathan Godinez .studio

“Stay inside the lines” is one of the first rules we’re taught”
Outside the Lines looks at what happens when artists begin to think beyond them.
Each piece moves away from the traditional frame, allowing the image to shape its own form.
These works reflect curiosity, imagination, and the freedom to create within self-defined boundaries.
At its core, Outside the Lines also speaks to the spirit of Eastside Arthouse-supporting artists as they build sustainable, creative lives shaped by choice and possibility.

Bryan Garcia, Mi Barrio Lindo, 2025, 31” x 31” assemblage of 35mm photography

Bryan Garcia is a film photographer based in Riverside California. He’s deeply drawn to capturing history through a camera to tell stories that resonate beyond the frame. His work often explores the complexities of everyday life. Growing up in a bustling city, he developed a keen eye for detail and an instinct to document the world around him, which naturally led him to photography. It allows him to capture fleeting moments in time, offering a detailed snapshot of historical events, people, and environments that might otherwise be lost to memory and to preserve a visual record of the past.

Mi Barrio Lindo, Artist Statement

Raised in the eastside community of Riverside for nearly my entire life, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and everything in between. Living up and down Park Ave and eventually throughout the eastside neighborhood, I can say that there’s been a lot of laughter, a sense of family and pain. But most importantly, I’ve seen pride in my fellow neighbors. Proud to be Chicanos. Proud to be Mexican. Together we are the eastside. Together we are Hecho En Park Ave.
The show Hecho en Park Avenue runs till September 28th!
