Welcome to my very first post, on my New Business page! I'm so excited to get started on my new career! I have been interested in Real Estate since I was in High School. My parents became interested in Investment Real Estate in 1978 and started talking about the opportunities of investing in rental properties. My interest was peaked, and I was hooked!
I started to talk to my fiancée (now my husband), about the possibility of purchasing a home instead of renting an apartment. We made the decision to save money for a home, so our dating life consisted of hanging out with my parents, my sisters and babysitting for my nieces and nephews. Occasionally, we splurged and went to a discount movie theater.
We looked at everything from Manufactured Housing, Condo's, Town Homes and Single Family Homes. In a time when interest rates were 18-20%, we found a small 800 sqft town home, closed on it in March 1981, a few months later I attended my High School Graduation. Since then, we have found that we are very adept at renovating our homes. Eventually, we started to invest in Real Estate, other than our primary residence, and now own a small property management company and a property flipping business as well.
That was how I started in my Real Estate journey, which has now developed into my passion. In January of this year, I obtained my Real Estate Broker's License and started LMS Realty Group.
