Tomorrow is the last day to come and see the showroom before it is closed.
This wasn’t in our plans, we didn’t see it coming, this is a hard thing to do. It has been an emotionally challenging time for the whole family. But tomorrow our plans will officially and irrevocably change and we are open and accepting of what the next steps for our future bring.
A simple thank you for all of your support and friendship throughout the years doesn’t seem to do justice, so take this quote by Joseph Campbell with you.
Always remember that you can plan until you think you have every contingency figured out. But when life happens, always let go and welcome the path that is waiting for you.
God already knew all of our trials and difficulties, He wrote our story after all, so this is no surprise to Him and he already has the path to the next chapter written out and is just waiting for us to take the steps.
So instead of just a simple thank you, we offer peace, love, and prayers to all who read this as you do hard things too.
This is the last week before we turn out the lights on the showroom floor on March 30th, and prepare for the auction in April.
Our nearly 25 years of being in the community have been a honor and a privilege.
All items in the bookstore are 50% off.

In 1993 Gab Joiner had a vision. With the first rendering of the J&R Vintage Auto Museum the reality of that dream came to fruition.
Our family has been blessed by countless partners, pals, and patrons throughout the years; we are incredibly thankful for each and every one of you.
Throughout the years we made it through even the hard times because we stuck together; we made countless memories, ran dozens of races, and even won a few trophies. Nothing compared to the joy of seeing people’s faces light up when they saw the old cars but it has been difficult to keep things going since Gab’s passing in 2015.
It has been a great ride, but even the best races have finish lines and it is now time to turn off our headlights.
It is with great sorrow that we announce the road for J&R Vintage Auto Museum has come to an end. After more than 25 years of memories we will be closing our doors on March 30, 2019.
Mitch Albom once said “All endings are also beginnings. We just don’t know it at the time.” I stand in Gab’s nearly empty office as I write this, looking down on the shop full of cars that his grandsons have been working on today and I ponder how this is the end of our race, but we hope it is the start of something new.
We know that Gab’s legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him and we look forward to seeing what new beginnings come out of this ending.
We would love to see y’all stop by before we close our doors. We will be selling many of our cars in the Silver Auctions in Phoenix, AZ on April 14-15th but we still have many beauties left on the showroom floor.
The bookstore will remain open through the month of April, all merchandise is 50% off.
With love and gratitude,
Evonna, Melvonna, Bobby, Bill, Evonna, Shane, Erin, Devonna, Joe, Chris, Amy, Hannah, Charlotte, and Baby Colton

A New Year is upon us, the closing of one door and the opening of the next. It is with great sadness that we announce the doors of J&R Vintage Auto Museum will be closing in the summer of 2019.
Four years ago this year our beloved owner and family patriarch, Gab Joiner, took his final ride after sixty years of being partners in marriage and driving with the love of his life, Evonna. We have tried to keep things the same without him but he really was the grease that kept us going.
We will be selling most of our cars on the museum floor in auctions and private sales. For more information please visit us on site or email us at [email protected]
Gab left a legacy that can’t be contained in one post. The memories he gave us will live on in our hearts forever. Thank you for being a part of this journey and a part of our family.
