We spent the day exploring historic Chimayó! ☀️ Between Ortega’s weaving shop, lunch at Rancho De Chimayo, and a visit to the Santuario, it was a fun getaway filled with local charm and great company!

We enjoyed a wonderful visit from Frank Leto Music, featuring the Ivory & Steel duet. With Frank Leto on steel drum and Bert Dalton on piano, the room was filled with smooth Caribbean jazz and timeless favorites. 🎶 Frank also gave a fascinating glimpse into how a steel drum is made—transforming a simple steel barrel into a beautifully crafted instrument.

💃 We had a wonderful afternoon attending Tarde de Oro at Albuquerque’s beautiful, historic KiMo Theatre, where lively music, colorful dancing, and vibrant performances came together to celebrate the rich history and diverse cultures of New Mexico. It was a time well spent with friends and a beautiful celebration of culture and community!
