Custom built Toyotas since 2014
Making the jump from Instagram to all platforms 🤘🏼
No turning back now! Slightly worried I made a mistake cutting up a perfectly driving truck but I’ve been doing it my whole life 😂 I guess worse case if this was a fail we can always sas it 😂 next up spindles, brakes and steering. Anyone know what calipers to use on 25mm thick rotors? I’m stumped.

Should have brought my horse trailer, we got ourselves a unicorn 😏 85, efi, solid axle, sr5. Some may say this is the holy grail…. Others may consider it a rusty piece of junk... 300 miles down today, about 1200 to come… Welcome home Toyota number ?? I’ve lost count 🥲 double feature of the new peepaw tow rig, we about to fetch all the Toyotas #1985
It’s changing of the season, and we got 3 new projects coming in with the season. Hot boy topless 4runner summer is over and now it’s time for YOU to have a rad winter in the driver seat one of these rigs with some crispy mountain air. Heaters COOK in the 84 and 85. Red 85 has rust, but compete AC. 84 is ac truck but missing condenser, no rust. Would prefer to keep black 86 to do the sas as all the parts are here. And kinda need the crawler for trail hero, Koh, ejs, 6 lug safari. I will deliver $ per mile, delivery paid up front. Let’s make a deal 😎
First up on the 86 long travel build, we gotta get our coil over mounts fixed up! Looking back I should have cut the coil over off too because I don’t think they’re gonna line up with the other half, was a 2nd gen 4runner v6 so I’m guessing mucho frame differences. Didn’t think about that till mock up!
Tube doors are just as cool don’t get upset 😂 but today we’re building some half doors 😎 I’ve built a few sets of these, was actually one of my very first welding projects about 11 or 12 years ago. There’s a 100 ways to skin an orange and I’ve built them differently every time depending on the condition of the doors, and the generation of the truck. Have you built any half doors before? If so what method did you use?
I think this is one of the best sounding Toyotas I’ve owned 😂
Part two 😎 the slim bumper plus dove sides really took this truck up a few more notches on the cool guy scale. I’m thinking a spare tire swing and some lugs for D rings and this thing should be dialed! But for now we unlocked being able to go pick up full sticks of material with a trailer for some upcoming jobs, which was the main goal 🤙🏼can’t lie tho I might try to go fetch a Toyota or two with it 😂
Part one of the tundra bumper 😎 I really love the look of a wrap around high clearance plate bumper, but with projects backing up and the immediate need for this to pull some light duty trailers, we had to get creative on efficiently vs aesthetics vs budget. I didn’t wana invest a bunch of time and money into a bumper we may potentially throw away once I do learn CAD. and plus…. A flat bed is still not off the table 😎
Only things left on the 85 is cut off the old slider stubs, fix up the chalked doors / fender, and then I wanna take this sucker on one last adventure before I officially make the for sale ad. Words cannot describe how good this thing drives, almost makes me wanna keep it and sell the 3rd gen instead 😂 and to answer your question. 8500 bucks firm 🤙🏼 *tboxnation
