Growth means the process of developing, improving, or becoming more advanced.

Growth is our focus for the year! 🌱 At ReadWest, we see growth every day — in learning, confidence, new skills, and the goals our students work toward.

How would you use “growth” in a sentence? Tell us in the comments!

📈 Increasing a person’s literacy skills just one level from the lowest level makes it 50% less likely they will live in poverty. Achieving Level 3 proficiency—that level deemed necessary to manage the demands of everyday life—makes it nearly 80% less likely someone will live in poverty or require assistance.

Please join us in welcoming Nikki Gurule, ReadWest's new Data Coordinator!

Nikki's educational journey gave her firsthand experience with the value of personalized learning. After finding that a traditional classroom setting wasn't the right fit for her needs, she transitioned to an online education program that better supported her learning style. That experience helped shape her belief in the importance of quality, one-on-one tutoring and individualized support.

Since joining ReadWest, Nikki has been inspired by the passionate people working to strengthen our community through literacy. She is proud to help connect adult learners with the tutoring and resources they need to reach their goals.

We're excited to have Nikki on the team and look forward to the impact she'll make!
