A proud morning for The George Ranch at the Fort Bend County Fair Parade!

The George Ranch had the honor of leading Friday's parade as the 2026 Fort Bend County Fair Parade Grand Marshal, helping officially kick off the Fair’s 90th anniversary celebration.

Representing The Ranch were The George Foundation Trustees Mark Magee and Joe Zimmerman, George Ranch Executive Director Adrienne Barker, Ronda Rusk, The George Ranch Board member, along with Ranch cowboys and staff.

Leading the way was the Ranch’s beautifully restored Wagonette, joined by its generous donors, Sassy Stanton and Bill Pinckard, who rode in the parade as part of this special celebration.

For 90 years, the Fort Bend County Fair has brought generations together in support of agriculture, education, youth development, and community, making today’s honor especially meaningful.

Congratulations to the Fort Bend County Fair on 90 years, and thank you for allowing The George Ranch to help lead the celebration.

A special honor for The George Ranch ahead of this Friday’s Fort Bend County Fair Parade!

Richmond Mayor Becky Haas recently presented Adrienne Barker and Roger Adamson with a proclamation recognizing The George Ranch as the 2026 Fort Bend County Fair Parade Grand Marshal.

Now it’s almost time to celebrate. Join us this Friday, September 25 at 9 AM as The George Ranch leads nearly 200 parade entries from the Historic Fort Bend County Courthouse in Richmond, west along Highway 90A to Rosenberg.

This year’s theme, “90 Years Strong: Honoring the Past. Growing the Future,” is a fitting celebration of Fort Bend County’s history, agriculture, and community spirit.

🤠🎉 Guess Who’s Leading the Parade?

The George Ranch is proud to serve as Parade Marshal for the Fort Bend County Fair Parade this Friday, September 25th!

Keep an eye out for the George Ranch Wagonette, pulled by the TGR equestrian team, along with the Ranch cowboys and more making their way down the parade route. 🐴

And with school out for the day, it’s the perfect excuse to round up the family and join the fun!

Take the classroom to the Ranch for the next Homeschool Day at The George Ranch on Thursday, September 24!

Spend the day exploring Texas history through the historic homes, stories, and hands-on experiences that make learning a whole lot more fun outside the classroom.
