Trail Racing Over Texas (TROT) is dedicated to delivering premier trail running experiences across the Lone Star State. From coastal plains to the beautiful forests and some of the best state parks Texas has to offer - our events are meticulously designed to challenge seasoned ultramarathoners while providing a welcoming and highly supported race environment for those getting off the road and stepping onto the dirt for the first time.

Experience a unique coastal trail run. This course offers a distinct blend of island terrain and fast, runnable stretches through coastal prairies, perfect for runners looking to experience the Texas Gulf Coast from an entirely new perspective.

🤠 BIG TEX BACKYARD | NOV 7, 2026 | LAST RUNNER STANDING - LIL TEX KID’S K

Our signature last-runner-standing backyard event. 4.167 miles every hour, on the hour. Test your physical and mental endurance on a looping course where the race only ends when one runner remains.

🐊 BRAZOS BEND 100 | DEC 5, 2026 | 100M - 100K - MARATHON - HALF MARATHON - BRAZOS KID’S KILOMETER

Renowned as one of the fastest trail races in the country. Featuring a flat, crushed-stone course winding through moss-draped live oaks and abundant wildlife, Brazos Bend is the premier venue for setting a personal record or securing your first 100-mile buckle.

The first official trail race at the iconic Memorial Park. An accessible yet demanding course situated right in our own backyard. This race highlights the natural, rugged beauty of the Houston area - offering a top-tier trail running experience without the need for extensive travel.

Step off of the trails and on to the beach - join Trail Racing Over Texas for a one-of-a-kind endurance event where the trail is pure shoreline. With a beginner friendly 5K to a point-to-point 50K challenge across the island, there is a distance for every athlete. Miles of open beach, ocean breeze and a sunrise over the Gulf.

Experience true coastal trail running on hard-packed sand with a breathtaking sunrise start over the Gulf. Throughout the race, you can rely on fully supported aid stations on the course to help get you to that finish line. This event is built on an inclusive, community-driven atmosphere - culminating in a high-energy finish line experience complete with exclusive finisher medals, TROT towel and a post-race festival.

In collaboration with 3 Bros Running Company and limited to 100 runners - earn a special double-day medal by running with TROT on Saturday and joining Three Bros Running for their Toughest 10K Galveston on Sunday!
