New! TAA School Education Video Series

TAA School Education Video Series offers free Continuing Education Units to learn more about supporting students living with Tourette Syndrome or another Tic Disorder.

The TAA School Education Video Series is designed specifically for schools and provides an overview of TS and other Tic Disorders, common co-occurring conditions, and how to accommodate students with tics in the classroom. When educators register for this complimentary video series, they're taking an important step towards providing better support for the 1 in 50 school-aged children who live with TS or another Persistent Tic Disorder.

The Landa Branch Library is situated near Alamo Heights and Olmos Park, in the Monte Vista Historical District. The San Antonio Zoo, Trinity University, Witte Museum, Brackenridge Park are nearby.

Sheryl Kadmon, our Tourette Texas Executive Director, will take your questions. The meeting room is to the left as you walk in, or as at the front desk. We will bring in snacks and drinks.

Relaxed and Sensory Inclusive Performances include adjustments like modified lighting in audience spaces, designated quiet and activity areas in the hobby, encouragement to move and enter/exit as needed, sensory supports (like fidgets and ear plus/muffs), trained volunteers and more.
