🎻🎶 A symphony of learning! Today, our third graders had an amazing opportunity to learn all about the viola & the violin from Richardson Symphony Orchestra docent and violist, Peggy Tucker!

Mrs. Tucker introduced students to her instrument, treated them to some beautiful music, and went over important concert etiquette to help them prepare for their upcoming field trip to the Richardson Symphony Orchestra in a couple of weeks! We can’t wait to see our third graders put their new knowledge to use at the concert! 🎼✨ Richardson Symphony Orchestra Richardson ISD Fine Arts

🏙️💼 REAL-WORLD LEARNING IN ACTION! 💼🏙️

Today, our 5th graders got to step into the all-new RISD experiential learning center, BizTown, and experience what it’s like to run a miniature city! 🚀

From managing storefronts and bank accounts to visiting City Hall, sending mail, and making real-world decisions, our Rockets got to learn by doing and see how classroom learning connects to the world around them!

With familiar Richardson landmarks and local businesses woven into the experience, BizTown brought learning to life in an unforgettable way! 💙💛🚀
