Richardson was proud to welcome a delegation of Korean CEOs and business leaders during their Texas Market Entry Mission visit.
The group met with local leaders to learn more about Richardson’s thriving business environment, innovation ecosystem, strategic transportation infrastructure, and opportunities for international collaboration and investment.
Collaborations like these also align with Richardson’s goals as the International Business Capital of North Texas by continuing to create, maintain, and grow its global business ecosystem through partnerships and initiatives.

Last night, City leaders gathered with founders and representatives from Startup Runway and their portfolio companies for an evening of networking, collaboration, and conversation.

This week, the Richardson Economic Development team made new connections at the 2026 Japan-Texas Economic Summit hosted by the U.S.-Japan Council.
Summit topics centered around collaboration between Japan and Texas, including panels on real estate, construction, business expansion, A.I., semiconductors, data centers, and the future of both economies.
Events like these give Richardson’s Economic Development team opportunities to strengthen international partnerships, attract global investment, and showcase our city as a destination for innovation.
