Dallas Symphony Orchestra and UT Dallas Partner on Speech, Language, and Music Study The DSO and UTD's Speech, Language and Music (SLAM) Lab hope to better understand the impact of music training on the brains of young people with the new studyโ€”which will involve 50 volunteers from the DSOโ€™s Kim Noltemy Young Musicians program.

New published paper! We found that beta and gamma binaural beats embedded in music enhanced performance on a syntactic reanalysis task. As far as we are aware, this is the first binaural beat study in the language domain. Paper linked here: https://rdcu.be/c6BSZ
